These terms govern your use of the Tayberry app, provided by Aloha Apps LLC. By using Tayberry, you agree to them. Please read the safety section carefully — it's the most important part.
Tayberry is an organizational and informational tool to help you manage food allergies. It is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
Scan results and recipe or menu screening are aids, not guarantees. "Safe" or "clear" means no flagged allergen was found in the information available — it does not mean a food is safe for your child.
Always read the full, current ingredient label yourself, and confirm with the manufacturer or restaurant. Ingredients, recipes, and manufacturing change, and cross-contact can occur. Make final decisions with your child's allergist or doctor.
In an emergency, do not rely on this app. Follow your child's emergency action plan and call your local emergency number (911 in the U.S.).
You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you enter, including your child's allergens and emergency details. The app's output is only as good as what you give it.
Keep your device and iCloud account secure, since that is where your data lives.
Tayberry offers an optional subscription (Tayberry Family) that unlocks premium features. Core safety features remain free.
Subscriptions are billed through your Apple ID. They renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel anytime in iOS Settings under your Apple ID › Subscriptions.
Payments, refunds, and renewals are handled by Apple under the App Store terms. Any refund requests are subject to Apple's policies.
Use Tayberry only for its intended personal, non-commercial purpose. Don't attempt to disrupt, reverse engineer, or misuse the app.
Tayberry is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that allergen detection is complete or error-free.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Aloha Apps LLC is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the app. Your use of Tayberry is at your own discretion and risk, and does not replace professional medical care.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute arising from these terms or your use of the app will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in New York.
We may update these terms; the effective date above will reflect the latest version. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.
